About

31 Days is Gallery Red’s major annual exhibition that sees the artists working within the creative criteria set by the gallery. This unique exhibition where the artist and gallery curator interact during the creative process and making of the artworks. The concept behind the exhibition is to acknowledge and recognise the importance of the development of ideas and the creative process involved in making artworks. 31 days provides a criteria to which this unique process refined by shortening it into the 31 days of July where a work is produced every day.  July 1st – 31st marks the creation period, August is used to finalise presentation and installation elements of the artworks and September is when the work is made available to the public in a group exhibition.
